Overview
The Family Group was kick-started in 1994 under the supervision of Imbichi Ahmmad and P.N Abdul Kader. ‘Family’ was a name which was apt for a cloth trade initiative and also acceptable for families. It was in this way that the Family Wedding Centre, which was one among the famous cloth trade companies, was formed. Calicut Senior Khasi officially inaugurated the first showroom of Family Textiles at Thamarassery, Calicut on 26th September, 1994. Following this, Family’s different and eye-catching showrooms were opened at Pantheerankaav, Meppayyur, Peraavur, Ambalavayal, Kunnnamangalam, Vadakara and Manjery respectively. With the formation of every new showroom, considerable increase happened in facilities and size of location.
